La Marzocco's X-Filter filter baskets (formerly Strada X filter baskets) are more precisely manufactured than many standard filter baskets. The number of holes, hole diameter, and distribution are precisely defined, resulting in more consistent water flow. This helps reduce fluctuations in extraction at the same grind size, dose, and tamping pressure. The material is more robust than cheaper filter baskets. This means they deform more slowly – even with frequent changes of filter baskets in the portafilter and intensive cleaning.
The filter baskets are certified, meaning they have been tested within defined tolerance ranges. This ensures consistency – especially important when multiple machines or brewing groups are in use and comparable results are desired. Available in sizes of 7 g, 14 g, 17 g, and 21 g.

Suitable for: Linea Micra, Linea Mini, Linea Mini R, GS3, GB5 X, GB5 S, GB5 FB80, KB90, Leva, Linea-FB70, Linea PB, Strada MP, Strada S, Strada X, E61 and all other machines with 58mm portafilter
