Extend the Linea Mini, Linea Mini R, Pico and Swan with brew-by-weight or grind-by-weight: an exclusive Acaia scale that automatically stops the shot as soon as the set target weight is reached. The drip algorithm ensures exceptionally precise, consistent brew times.
The Brew by weight function can of course also be used with the Grafikus Coffeetec needle valve kit.

ATTENTION: The Brew-by-Weight function is currently only available with the Linea Mini and Linea Mini R. Not with the Linea MICRA. The grind-by-weight function can only be used with the Pico and Swan.

Brew by weight, an exclusive innovation project by Acaia and La Marzocco Home. Developed specifically to work with the Linea Mini, Linea Mini R, Pico and Swan, this weighing function optimises espresso preparation at home. Thanks to a predictive drip algorithm, the scale delivers very high accuracy with every shot. Simply set the desired amount, operate the paddle and leave the rest to the machine. Linea Mini or Linea Mini R and scale work together perfectly; auto-tare and auto-timing ensure that exactly the amount you set ends up in the cup.

Compatibility requirements
Brew-by-Weight uses La Marzocco-specific firmware to connect to your Linea Mini, Linea Mini R, Pico, and Swan. Standard Acaia scales cannot be updated to achieve Brew-by-Weight & Grind-by-Weight functionality.

Two shot sizes via the La Marzocco Home app
Adapt the Linea Mini or Linea Mini R to your personal espresso style: via the La Marzocco Home app you can set up to two portion sizes or continuous brewing.

predictive drip algorithm
The predictive drip algorithm “knows” in advance when the shot has to be stopped and thus reliably ensures that exactly the amount you set ends up in the cup.

auto-tare and auto-timer
After pressing the paddle, the scale automatically measures the empty weight (tare) and starts the auto timer and the precisely coordinated brewing process.
