Loxeal 58-11 liquid sealant

Loxeal 58-11 is a specially developed, anaerobic-curing liquid sealant from WEKEM – ideal for the professional maintenance and repair of espresso machines. It replaces conventional seals such as paper, rubber, or cork gaskets and ensures permanently leak-proof, reliable metal connections in hot water and steam-carrying systems.

Especially during the maintenance and repair of portafilter machines – for example, when replacing screw connections on the steam boiler, brewing group, or pump – Loxeal 58-11 provides a secure seal against water and steam. The medium-viscosity formula cures in the absence of air upon metal contact and reliably withstands temperatures up to +150°C. The product also has NSF P1 approval, making it suitable for use in food-related areas.

Characteristics:

• Color: Yellow

• Temperature resistant: –55 °C to +150 °C

• Curing: anaerobic, medium-strength

• Curing time: 1 – 2 hours (according to the manufacturer) -> In practice: ideally 6 – 12 hours for complete curing

• Can be removed without leaving any residue: no contamination of the system

• Approval: NSF P1 – suitable for use in food-related areas
