Original La Marzocco safety valve housing (F.2.062)

This housing replaces the old metal housing F.1.004, which the Safety valve B.2.025.01 encloses. In my view, there are two reasons for this redesign. Firstly, after many years of use, the old housing was often very difficult to disassemble. Frequently, it was necessary to use two tools for reassembly. copper discs to work. Secondly, due to the temperature-related movements of the copper pipes inside the machine during heating and cooling, it could happen that the metal housing came into contact with other metallic objects inside the machine, causing an unpleasant, vibrating noise.

The new rubber housing can be retrofitted to all machines that use the Safety valve (B.2.025.01) / (B.2.024.01). In addition to the housing (F.2.062), the following are also installed: Retaining spring (I.8.003) and the Hose connection (F.8.021) needed.

The following is also available: Safety valve housing set (F.2.062.R), which contains the three components required for switching to the new version.

Suitable for the following machines: Linea Mini, Linea Mini R, GS3, Leva, Modbar, Strada EP, Strada X, Strada S, Strada MP, Strada EE, Strada AV, Linea PB, LCS, KB90, GB5, GB5 X, GB5 S, Leva 1GR, Strada EP 1GR, Strada X 1GR

Safety information for water-carrying components

This spare part carries water, sometimes hot and under pressure. With a little experience in handling tools, you can usually install it yourself without difficulty.

For legal reasons I must nevertheless point out the following: before installation, switch the machine off, pull the mains plug and let it cool down. Release any remaining pressure, for example via the steam wand. If the machine is plumbed in, turn off the water. After installation, check all connections for leaks and do not leave the machine unattended during the first few uses. Leaking connections can lead to water damage.

I accept no liability for damage caused by improper installation or leaking connections. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
