Original La Marzocco Blind Ferrule 8 x 4 – a closed (blind) compression ferrule
This ferrule has no bore. It is fitted into a compression fitting to seal off a port that has no pipe connected – for example an unused outlet on the L134 fitting. When the union nut is tightened, the ferrule is compressed and seals the port.
Once the fitting has been loosened, the compressed ferrule should be replaced with a new one so that the port seals reliably again.
