When should the lid be replaced?
If the brew volume of your espressos varies with volumetric dosing (AV function) and the volumes still do not match after reprogramming, a very likely reason can be that this lid needs to be replaced. The field sensor sits in the lid: it picks up the signals of the impeller in the flowmeter via a magnetic field and thus tells the control unit how much water has flowed through.

I recommend replacing the impeller (LAD070/V) and the seal (LAD070/S1) together with the lid.
