Grind tumbler EK43/EK43s v2

175,00 270,00  (German VAT included)

This grounds container transforms the Mahlkönig EK43 / EK43s into a true single-dosing grinder. The container is held to the grinder by magnets and can be removed from the EK43 / EK43 S after grinding and placed on the portafilter. Pulling out the cone deposits the grounds in the portafilter. Using the grounds container ensures that the grounds are kept in the portafilter and not scattered around.

Depending on the grinding level, the grinds container can hold up to 30 grams of ground coffee.

Scope of delivery: Ground container with cone, adapter plate with fastening screws

Note: The cone is on powder-coated regrind containers not powder-coated, but polished to a high gloss.
With anodized regrind containers, all components are coated and the cone is coated.
Both the powder-coated and anodized containers are given for surface treatment after ordering, which is why a certain delivery time usually has to be taken into account.

Instructions for safe handling of the grinding container:

1. Assembly of the grinding material container
Before each use, make sure that the grinding container is correctly and firmly attached to the grinder.

2. Safety instructions for magnets
The grinding container is attached to the grinder using strong magnets. Be especially careful when attaching and removing it to avoid pinching your fingers.
Never reach between the grinding container and the grinder housing while attaching or removing the container.

Strong magnets can cause injuries, especially crushing, bruising or – if the force is applied uncontrollably – even broken bones.
Magnets can also attract small metal pieces or splinters. Therefore, check the magnetic surfaces regularly for dirt or foreign objects.

Avoid contact of magnets with electronic data storage devices, magnetic stripe cards or sensitive devices.
Important for people with pacemakers or implanted medical devices: Keep a sufficient distance from the magnetic surfaces and follow the instructions of your doctor or device manufacturer.

3. Operation only with mounted grinding container
Only operate the grinder with the grinding container correctly installed. Without it, there is a risk of reaching into the ejection chute while the grinding discs are still rotating.
This can cause serious injuries to fingers or hands.

Operation without the grinding container installed is expressly prohibited for safety reasons.
We assume no liability for personal injuries resulting from improper operation without a grinding container.

4. Remove the grinding container only when the machine is not running
Do not remove the grinding container until the grinding discs have come to a complete stop.
After switching off, wait a few seconds to ensure that no rotating parts are moving.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury from moving parts.
5. Remove the grinding container

When removing the grinding container, turn it slightly to the side. This makes it easier to release the magnetic connection.
Never pull the container down abruptly, as this may cause the grinder to tip over.

6. Intended use

The ground coffee container is intended exclusively for collecting ground coffee in conjunction with the Mahlkönig EK43, Mahlkönig EK43s or Titus Nautilus models.
Any use beyond this is considered improper and is at your own risk.

Please note:
The maximum capacity of the grinding container depends largely on the grinding degree used.
With coarse grinds (e.g. for French Press), the container fills up much faster due to the larger particles and lower bulk density than with fine grinds (e.g. for espresso).

Overfilling can cause ground coffee to back up in the ejection chute. This can cause a bean jam in the grinder and, in the worst case, lead to a blockage or mechanical damage to the grinder.

Therefore, make sure not to fill the ground coffee container beyond the maximum volume depending on the grind setting. Especially with coarse grinds or larger grind sizes, it is advisable to limit the grind quantity in advance to avoid overfilling and resulting malfunctions (e.g., bean jams in the grinder).

7. Manipulations and modifications
Do not make any modifications or alterations to the grinding container. Any tampering will void your warranty and liability claims.

8. Storage and forwarding of information
Please keep this safety text permanently together with the mill.
Make sure that all persons working with the mill read and follow these safety instructions before commissioning.

9. Regular checks
Regularly check the grinding container and the magnetic connections for damage or wear.
Do not continue to use damaged components.

10. Cleaning & Care
Remove the grinding container completely for cleaning.
Clean it only by hand with a mild detergent.
Avoid cleaning in the dishwasher and the use of aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage the surface.

11. Exclusion of liability for improper use
The use of the grinding container is at your own risk.
We accept no liability for damage to the device, grinding container, persons or the environment caused by improper use, non-intended use or disregard of these instructions.
In these cases, there is no claim for compensation or consequential damages (e.g. loss of production).
