The machine then draws its water straight from the mains, and the drip tray drains into the waste water through a hose. So you no longer need to refill the water tank or empty the drip tray.<\/p>\n<p>The kit fits the GS3&nbsp;AV and the GS3&nbsp;MP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope of delivery:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 m drain hose<\/li>\n<li>Connection set for the drip tray<\/li>\n<li>1.5 m water supply hose<\/li>\n<li>Fittings for the connection at the pump<\/li>\n<li>Contact plate and mounting material for the level sensor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the connection you need a water connection with a shut-off valve and a drain near the machine. A pressure reducer is usually not required. If your water pressure is very high, I can offer you a pressure reducer from BWT \u2013 just get in touch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Water filter:<\/strong> Whether a water filter is needed in front of the machine depends on the hardness of your water. In regions with soft water one is often not necessary. With hard water I recommend a filter so that as little limescale as possible builds up in the machine, for example the <a href=\"https:\/\/grafikus-coffeetec.de\/en\/product\/bwt-bestprotect-wasserfilter-set\/\">BWT Bestprotect water filter set<\/a>. You can find out your water hardness from your local water supplier.<\/p>\n<p>If you later want to run the machine with the water tank again, the kit can be removed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installation:<\/strong> Installation should be carried out by someone with experience on espresso machines.
